Also known as: Noopept Choline Spray
A community nootropic stack pairing Noopept, a potent racetam-family dipeptide, with a choline source (commonly alpha-GPC, CDP-choline/citicoline, or choline bitartrate). Choline is added to supply acetylcholine precursor and to reduce the headaches some users get from racetam-type compounds.

Noopept (N-phenylacetyl-L-prolylglycine ethyl ester) is a proline-containing dipeptide designed as an analog of the racetam piracetam; in animal work it is roughly 1000x more potent by weight than piracetam [PMID:12596521]. Preclinical studies attribute its effects to upregulation of nerve growth factor (NGF) and BDNF, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity, and protection of neurons against glutamate/calcium excitotoxicity and amyloid toxicity [PMID:25096780][PMID:17092975]. Like the racetams, it is described as having cholinomimetic (acetylcholine-supporting) activity, which is the theoretical basis for pairing it with a choline source.
A choline source supplies the precursor for acetylcholine synthesis. Alpha-GPC and CDP-choline (citicoline) are cholinergic precursors that raise brain choline availability and, in animal studies, increase acetylcholine levels and release [PMID:1662399]. Plain choline (e.g., choline bitartrate) is a cheaper, less bioavailable option.
The combination rationale is drawn from the classic racetam+choline literature: in aged rats, combining piracetam with choline produced memory retention several times better than either compound alone, even though the effect was behavioral rather than a simple additive rise in acetylcholine [PMID:7301036]. Users extend this reasoning to Noopept and add choline to 'feed' the cholinergic system a racetam-type compound is thought to tax, and to blunt the headaches some people get from racetams used without adequate choline. Important caveat: this synergy has been demonstrated for piracetam, not for Noopept specifically - the Noopept+choline pairing itself has never been tested in controlled trials.

Research use only; not for use as a human medical product. Avoid if pregnant or breastfeeding, or under 18. Use caution with a history of seizures (cholinergic and racetam-type compounds have mixed, uncertain seizure data), bipolar disorder or depression (cholinergic load can worsen mood in some people), and cardiovascular conditions. Do not combine with anticholinergic or cholinergic medications, or with other racetams, without medical guidance. Consult a clinician before use, especially if you take prescription medication.

Data Completeness
63%Half-Life
Not a single-molecule value - this is a two-component stack. Noopept has a short plasma half-life, with central effects that outlast blood levels; the rise in brain choline from alpha-GPC or CDP-choline persists for several hours.
Trial Phase
Blend has no clinical trials; component evidence ranges from preclinical (Noopept) to small human RCTs (choline sources).

It is a community nootropic stack that pairs Noopept, a potent racetam-family dipeptide, with a choline source such as alpha-GPC, CDP-choline (citicoline), or plain choline. It is not a single drug and has no clinical trials as a combination - it is a research-use-only pairing.
Racetam-type compounds are thought to increase acetylcholine turnover, and users add choline to supply the precursor for acetylcholine and to reduce the headaches some people get from racetams alone. The clearest evidence for this synergy is piracetam + choline in aged rats, which improved memory more than either alone [PMID:7301036] - it has not been demonstrated for Noopept specifically.
Alpha-GPC and CDP-choline are the most bioavailable and the ones most used in cognition research; CDP-choline improved memory versus placebo in a healthy older-adult RCT [PMID:33978188], and alpha-GPC raises brain acetylcholine in animal studies [PMID:1662399]. Plain choline bitartrate is cheaper but less efficient. There is no data ranking them within a Noopept stack.
Common community ranges are Noopept 10-30 mg/day with alpha-GPC 150-600 mg or CDP-choline 250-500 mg. Start low, dose earlier in the day, and adjust the choline to how you feel. These are extrapolated from single-component use, not validated for the blend.
Honestly, the blend has no clinical trials. Noopept shows memory-supporting and neuroprotective effects in animal models [PMID:25096780], and the choline components have some human data for memory [PMID:33978188][PMID:15846601], but individual response to the stack varies and some people notice nothing. Treat any benefit as anecdotal.
This is a research-use-only combination with no long-term human safety data. Noopept is an unscheduled research chemical in the US (a prescription nootropic in Russia and some countries); choline sources are dietary ingredients. It is not FDA-approved for any use. Avoid if pregnant, under 18, or if you have seizure or mood disorders without medical guidance.
Yes. A headache can mean too little choline OR too much. If it appears, change one variable at a time - adjust the choline dose up or down - rather than everything at once.
