Ownership disclosure — read this first
BodyHackGuide and BHG Labs (bhglabs.co) share common ownership. We rank every vendor on the same public, reproducible methodology, and we earn a commission from purchases made through our links. BHG Labs is scored on the same rubric as every other vendor and does not win every category.
FTC Disclosure Statement
BodyHackGuide participates in affiliate marketing programs. Some links on this site are affiliate or partner links, meaning we may earn a commission when you purchase through them — at no additional cost to you. This disclosure is made in compliance with 16 CFR Part 255 (FTC Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising).
BodyHackGuide is a free platform. We don't charge for comparison tools, calculators, guides, or educational content. Here's exactly how we sustain the project:
1. Vendor Affiliate Links
When you click a "Buy" button on a compound listing, comparison table, or vendor hub and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission. This is our primary external revenue source.
Current affiliate vendor partners include:
- Optimum Formula (optimumformula.co) — research peptides and compounds
- Research Chem HQ (researchchemhq.co) — research peptides and compounds
- V&L Labs (vandl-labs.com) — research peptides and compounds
- BHG Labs (bhglabs.co) — research peptides and compounds; shares common ownership with BodyHackGuide (see section 2)
- Additional partner vendors listed on our Vendors directory
All affiliate links use rel="sponsored" per Google's webmaster guidelines.
- Commissions are paid by the vendor — you never pay extra
- Affiliate links are marked with external link icons and tagged
rel="sponsored" - We list vendors that meet our quality standards, not just those with affiliate programs
- Every Trust Score comes out of the same published rubric — you can reproduce any vendor's score from the same public criteria
2. Commonly Owned Vendor: BHG Labs
BodyHackGuide and BHG Labs (bhglabs.co) share common ownership. BHG Labs is not an unrelated third party, and we do not present it as one. We rank every vendor on the same public, reproducible methodology, and we earn a commission from purchases made through our links. The reader discount code REDDIT lowers your price and tags the order as a referral.
Because that relationship exists, here is exactly how we handle it: BHG Labs is scored by the same Trust Score rubric as every other vendor, with no bonus for the ownership tie; competing vendors stay listed in the same comparison tables, and BHG Labs does not win every category; our default comparison sort is price, lowest first, whoever that favors; and every BHG Labs link uses rel="sponsored". The full rubric is published so you can check any score yourself rather than take our word for it.
3. Bloodwork Partner (Anabolic Insights)
We partner with Anabolic Insights (anabolicinsights.ai) for bloodwork panels and may earn a referral fee when users order lab work through our links. The discount code CHONCH we share lowers your price and also tags the order as a referral. All Anabolic Insights links on this site use rel="sponsored".
4. Vendor Display Priority
Our default sort order in comparison tables is by price (lowest first). We also use a "priority" value that may influence the default display order in certain views (e.g., the vendor directory landing grid).
- Users can always re-sort by price, price per mg, or vendor name
- Our Trust Score is calculated from published, objective criteria (COA verification, payment transparency, community reviews, shipping coverage, active listings)
- The same rubric scores every vendor, including the commonly owned BHG Labs — the full rubric is published and reproducible, so any score can be checked against the same public criteria
- Where we hold a commercial or ownership interest in a vendor, we disclose it on the page — see our Editorial Standards
5. Coupon Codes & Deals
We display coupon codes and deals from vendors on our Deals page and in comparison tables. Some are affiliate-tracked codes — we may earn a commission when they are used, and they typically also lower your price.
6. Coaching Services
Our 1-on-1 coaching is a paid service where users can book personalized consultations. Revenue supports the platform and the coaches involved. Coaching is educational in nature and does not constitute medical advice.
What We Don't Do
To maintain trust, here's what we will never do:
- Sell your data — we don't sell, trade, or rent personal information (see our Privacy Policy)
- Add hidden markups — prices shown are the actual vendor prices
- Accept pay-for-play reviews — community ratings are from real users, and Trust Scores are formula-driven
- Gate essential tools — all calculators, comparisons, and guides are free forever
- Promote unsafe vendors — we evaluate vendors on objective criteria and remove those that don't meet standards
- Run third-party ads — no banner ads, pop-up ads, or ad-tracking scripts
- Hide a commercial relationship — including the common ownership we share with BHG Labs, which is disclosed on this page and wherever BHG Labs is featured
Our Commitment
BodyHackGuide was built by researchers, for researchers. Our goal is to be the most transparent and useful resource in this space. Affiliate revenue lets us keep everything free while continuing to build better tools and content for the community.
That includes being upfront about the parts that are awkward to say out loud. We share common ownership with one of the vendors we list, BHG Labs, and we would rather tell you that plainly than let you find it out somewhere else. The check on us is not a promise of neutrality — it is the published rubric, the price-first sort, and the competing vendors we keep listing next to our own.
If you have questions about our affiliate relationships or want to report a concern, reach out through our Discord community or via email at support@bodyhackguide.co.
