YK-11 Dosage Guide: Protocols, Calculator & Safety
Everything you need to know about YK-11 dosing: protocols, safety, and where to buy.
Half-Life
Not established. In a human elimination study using deuterium-labeled YK-11, no intact parent compound was seen in urine; unconjugated metabolites disappeared within 24 hours and glucuronidated and sulfated metabolites remained traceable beyond 48 hours (PMID: 30379415)

Side Effects & Safety
Contraindications
No sourced clinical contraindications exist because there are no human studies. Mechanism-based: as an androgen receptor agonist it should be avoided in pregnancy because of the risk of virilizing a female fetus, and in anyone with known or suspected prostate cancer. The rat neurotoxicity findings are a mechanism-based reason for caution in general (PMID: 37468001, PMID: 38521455). Athletes in tested sport must avoid it, since it is prohibited at all times (PMID: 28137616).
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the recommended YK-11 dosage?
Dosage for YK-11 varies by protocol. Consult a qualified healthcare provider.
How often should I take YK-11?
Administration frequency depends on the specific protocol. Consult current research literature.
Does YK-11 need to be cycled?
Cycling requirements depend on the protocol. Follow established research guidelines.
What are YK-11 side effects?
No human safety data. Rat studies report harm to the brain: five weeks of YK-11 in male Wistar rats increased oxidative stress and impaired all measured markers of mitochondrial function in the hippocampus, and combining it with swimming exercise did not reverse those changes (PMID: 37468001). A second rat study reported impaired aversive memory consolidation, downregulation of BDNF, TrkB and CREB signaling, higher interleukin 1 beta and interleukin 6, lower interleukin 10, and activation of a p38 MAPK and caspase 3 apoptotic cascade in the hippocampus (PMID: 38521455). Because YK-11 is an androgen receptor agonist, the class effects documented for other SARMs, including drug-induced liver injury and suppression of endogenous testosterone, are plausible but have not been measured for this compound (PMID: 37218811).
