    How to Reconstitute Tirzepatide

Pre-filled calculator with standard defaults for Tirzepatide: 10 mg vial in 2 ml BAC water.

    Standard Tirzepatide Reconstitution Protocol

Add 2 ml of bacteriostatic water to a 10 mg vial of Tirzepatide. This gives a concentration of 5.00 mg/ml. A 2500 mcg amount measures about 50.0 IU on a U-100 syringe scale. Store refrigerated at 2–8°C and use within 56 days.

    Tirzepatide Reconstitution Chart

Common syringe draws at the standard Tirzepatide preset (10 mg in 2 mL BAC water = 5.00 mg/mL). Units are on a U-100 syringe scale (100 units = 1 mL). For laboratory research reference only.

Syringe units (U-100) Volume Amount (Tirzepatide)
    5 units 0.05 mL 250 mcg
    10 units 0.10 mL 500 mcg
    15 units 0.15 mL 750 mcg
    20 units 0.20 mL 1.00 mg
    25 units 0.25 mL 1.25 mg
    30 units 0.30 mL 1.50 mg
    40 units 0.40 mL 2.00 mg
    50 units 0.50 mL 2.50 mg

    Step-by-Step: How to Reconstitute Tirzepatide

    1. 1

      Gather your supplies

A sealed 10 mg vial of Tirzepatide, a vial of bacteriostatic water, a 1 ml U-100 syringe, and an alcohol swab.

    2. 2

      Add the water

Wipe both vial stoppers with alcohol. Draw 2 ml of BAC water into the syringe and release it slowly down the inside wall of the Tirzepatide vial. Never spray directly onto the powder — the force can damage the peptide.

    3. 3

      Swirl gently

Gently swirl the vial in a circular motion until the Tirzepatide fully dissolves. Do not shake. The solution should become clear.

    4. 4

      Calculate the amount

      At a concentration of 5.00 mg/ml, a 2500 mcg (2.500 mg) amount equals about 50.0 IU on a U-100 syringe scale.

    5. 5

      Draw and store

Draw the amount you need, then immediately return the vial to the refrigerator at 2–8°C. Use the reconstituted vial within 56 days.

These defaults reflect commonly referenced reconstitution presets for Tirzepatide. Individual research setups may differ. Always verify the concentration against your source and its certificate of analysis. BodyHackGuide publishes for laboratory research and educational purposes only.
