Half-Life

Varies by component - the blend has no single half-life. BPC-157 and the TB-500 (thymosin beta-4) fragment are small peptides cleared over hours; GHK-Cu is a short-lived tripeptide-copper complex. Community dosing frequency is driven by empirical practice, not by measured pharmacokinetics of the blend.

Dosing

GHK-Cu once daily; BPC-157 once to twice daily; TB-500 twice weekly during the loading phase, then every 1-2 weeks for maintenance.

Dose Range

Blend - stated per component: GHK-Cu 1000-2000 mcg/day; BPC-157 250-500 mcg/dose; TB-500 2000-2500 mcg/dose. No validated dose exists for the combination (Research Use Only).

Potential Benefits

Improved skin firmness and elasticity - GHK-Cu raised collagen and elastin and improved aged-skin firmness in controlled cosmetic studies [PMID:18644225] Reduced appearance of fine lines and photodamage (GHK-Cu cosmetic data) [PMID:18644225] Support for wound and connective-tissue repair - GHK-Cu and BPC-157 accelerated healing in animal models [PMID:8836453][PMID:30915550] Angiogenesis / improved local blood-vessel formation - a shared mechanism of BPC-157 and the thymosin beta-4 fragment in TB-500 [PMID:20388964][PMID:14500546] Faster recovery from tendon, ligament and muscle strain (BPC-157 preclinical data) [PMID:30915550] Anti-inflammatory and antioxidant support during recovery (GHK-Cu and thymosin beta-4) [PMID:18644225][PMID:27450738] Reported skin 'glow' and quicker soft-tissue recovery - community/anecdotal only, not clinically verified for the blend

### Mechanism of Action

Glow Blend is a fixed combination of three research peptides, so its proposed effects are simply the sum of what each component does on its own - there is no unique "blend" mechanism, and no pharmacology study has ever been run on the three together. Each part is covered in depth on its own page: GHK-Cu (https://www.bodyhackguide.co/compound/ghk-cu), BPC-157 (https://www.bodyhackguide.co/compound/bpc-157) and TB-500 (https://www.bodyhackguide.co/compound/tb-500).

GHK-Cu (glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine copper complex) is a naturally occurring copper-binding tripeptide. In cosmetic-science and wound-healing literature it acts as a tissue-remodeling signal: it is chemotactic for repair cells, has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activity, and up-regulates synthesis of collagen, elastin and several growth factors (VEGF, FGF-2, NGF) while modulating matrix metalloproteinases. Controlled studies on aged human skin reported improved firmness and elasticity and reduced fine lines [PMID:18644225]; fibroblast and animal wound work showed increased collagen expression [PMID:8836453].

BPC-157 is a synthetic stable gastric pentadecapeptide. Its best-characterized action in rodent models is angiomodulation - it up-regulates VEGF and promotes organized new-vessel formation, which is tied to faster tendon, ligament and muscle healing [PMID:20388964][PMID:30915550]. All of this evidence is preclinical; efficacy has not been confirmed in humans.

TB-500 is the synthetic, N-acetylated form of LKKTETQ - the actin-binding "active region" of the natural protein thymosin beta-4 [PMID:23084823]. That short motif carries much of thymosin beta-4's angiogenic and cell-migration activity [PMID:14500546], and full-length thymosin beta-4 accelerated dermal wound repair and reduced inflammation in animal models and early-phase human ulcer trials [PMID:27450738].

Community rationale for combining them: GHK-Cu supplies the collagen/elastin cosmetic signal while BPC-157 and TB-500 are added for angiogenesis and connective-tissue recovery. This synergy is a plausibility argument built from the component mechanisms, not something demonstrated for the finished blend. Research Use Only.

### What to Expect

- • Skin goals (from GHK-Cu) develop slowly - cosmetic studies ran over weeks to a couple of months before firmness/elasticity changes were noted; do not expect overnight results
- • Recovery goals (from BPC-157 and TB-500) are reported anecdotally over a multi-week cycle, not after a single dose
- • The most common day-to-day experience is minor injection-site reactions (redness, sting, occasional bruising)
- • No validated timeline exists for the blend itself - these expectations are extrapolated from the individual components and user reports

Individual responses vary. Timeline based on commonly reported research observations.

## Interactions

### Interaction Matrix

### Contraindications

Do not use with a known allergy to any component (GHK-Cu, BPC-157 or TB-500) or to copper. Avoid injecting into active skin infections or broken/inflamed skin. Not for use in pregnancy or breastfeeding. Because two of the three components promote angiogenesis, avoid with active cancer or a personal history of cancer, or speak with a physician first. Use caution with Wilson's disease or other copper-metabolism disorders due to the copper in GHK-Cu. This is a Research Use Only product, not approved for human therapeutic use; anyone considering it should consult a qualified clinician.

### BPC-157/TB-500 Blend

Recovery Preclinical

Combined healing peptide blend.

t½ BPC-157: short - under ~30 min in animal PK studies (rats/dogs); no human PK data. TB-500 (thymosin beta-4): active fragment ~30 min, though tissue effects are prolonged. Dosed per component (a fixed daily blend over-doses TB-500 - see notes). BPC-157: 250-500 mcg once daily SUBQ. TB-500 (thymosin beta-4): 2-2.5 mg twice weekly during a 4-6 week loading phase, then 2-2.5 mg once weekly for maintenance (~5 mg/week during loading). If a pre-blended fixed-ratio daily vial is used, its TB-500 fraction should be ~250-350 mcg per injection so the weekly TB-500 total stays near ~5 mg.

## Frequently Asked Questions

Does Glow Blend have its own clinical trials?

No. There are no clinical trials - or even formal preclinical studies - on the GHK-Cu + BPC-157 + TB-500 combination. Every piece of evidence on this page comes from studies of the individual components, and the rationale for combining them is anecdotal. Treat it as Research Use Only.

What is each ingredient for?

GHK-Cu is a copper tripeptide studied for collagen/elastin synthesis and skin firmness [PMID:18644225]. BPC-157 is a pentadecapeptide studied in animals for tendon, ligament and muscle healing via angiogenesis [PMID:30915550]. TB-500 is the synthetic active fragment of thymosin beta-4, studied for angiogenesis and wound repair [PMID:27450738]. See GHK-Cu (https://www.bodyhackguide.co/compound/ghk-cu), BPC-157 (https://www.bodyhackguide.co/compound/bpc-157) and TB-500 (https://www.bodyhackguide.co/compound/tb-500).

Is TB-500 the same as thymosin beta-4?

Not exactly. TB-500 is a synthetic, N-acetylated version of LKKTETQ - the actin-binding 'active region' of the full thymosin beta-4 protein [PMID:23084823]. That short motif carries much of thymosin beta-4's angiogenic activity [PMID:14500546], but it is a fragment, not the whole protein.

How is Glow Blend dosed?

Community protocols dose each component separately: GHK-Cu ~1-2 mg/day, BPC-157 ~250-500 mcg per dose, and TB-500 ~2-2.5 mg twice weekly during a loading phase. There is no studied ratio for the blend, so these are extrapolations, not validated doses.

Is it safe?

The components are generally described as well tolerated in short-term animal and early human studies, but none has long-term human safety data and the blend itself has none at all. Known issues are mostly injection-site reactions; the honest position is that long-term risk is unknown. It is not approved for human use.

Can I just use topical GHK-Cu instead?

If your only goal is skin appearance, topical GHK-Cu cosmetic formulations are the most evidence-backed part of this stack [PMID:18644225] and avoid injections entirely. The injectable blend is aimed at people also seeking the systemic soft-tissue recovery attributed to BPC-157 and TB-500.

"mechanismOfAction": "Glow Blend is a fixed combination of three research peptides, so its proposed effects are simply the sum of what each component does on its own - there is no unique \"blend\" mechanism, and no pharmacology study has ever been run on the three together. Each part is covered in depth on its own page: GHK-Cu, BPC-157 and TB-500. Its best-characterized action in rodent models is angiomodulation - it up-regulates VEGF and promotes organized new-vessel formation, which is tied to faster tendon, ligament and muscle healing PMID:20388964. All of this evidence is preclinical; efficacy has not been confirmed in humans. TB-500 is the synthetic, N-acetylated form of LKKTETQ - the actin-binding \"active region\" of the natural protein thymosin beta-4 [PMID:23084823]. Research Use Only.",
